Mojo Taqueria is a family-owned Mexican restaurant with locations in Lyons, CO and Boulder, CO, serving delicious tacos, burritos, enchiladas and more. We are currently open in both locations for dine-in as well as takeout.
The Food
Mojo serves fresh Mexican food, drawing on flavor of Oaxaca, Yucatan, Baja, and other regions of Mexico. Everything that we make starts with high quality ingredients and is made from scratch with attention to the details. We make our salsas and sauces daily in house and our proteins are of the highest quality. Our menu includes vegetarian and gluten-free options. Our bar features tequila, mezcal, cachaca, tap beer and a full bar.
The food at Mojo was born out of a love of cooking with Mexican chiles. Each day starts with toasting chiles and roasting vegetables to make the sauces, salsas and braising liquids that create the basis for our food.
The Team
The owner and his wife met 20 years ago when she was working at Centro Latin Kitchen in Boulder and his Brazilian band played there on Sunday afternoons. They live in Lyons with their two children and they share a love of latin food, tequila, mezcal and music, and have brought that love to the creation of Mojo. Mojo is a small family-run restaurant, and most of the staff has been working at Mojo for years, some since the beginning in 2016 (2019 for Boulder). We have been fortunate to have incredible people work for us and we are passionate about what we do.
